“She tattooed our logo on her leg.  Crazy?”

Isn’t it funny that we can jump to extreme conclusions without having all of the information?  It’s human nature to judge situations inside of our available frame of reference and settle on an opinion – usually one that makes us feel more comfortable.  In this case, clearly this woman is out of her mind.  Or is she?

Here’s the back-story: This woman’s family was referred to our practice by their neighbors – another wonderful patient family of Franson Family Chiropractic.  Their 11 year old daughter had been struck with Alopecia Aereta two years prior.  Alopecia is an insidious auto-immune disorder that attacks the hair follicles and results in total hair loss.  The cause is considered “unknown.”  This condition is devastating for anyone to endure – unthinkable for an eleven year old girl.

Over the next 24 months the family searched for a cure.  They met with specialists, tried all of the pills, creams, lotions and potions, exhausted all traditional solutions and explored countless “alternative” avenues, treatments and diets.  One leading expert suggested that she was allergic to something at school – so they pulled her out and home-schooled.  No change.  Another leading expert suggested that she was allergic to something in their house – so they knocked down their house and built a new one.  No change.

Finally, this little girl in a wig and baseball cap showed up in our office and asked us for help.  We checked her spine and nervous system for interference.   We found subluxation (nerve pressure from spinal joint dysfunction) at the base of her skull (at the level of Atlas – C1).  She immediately began a course of specific corrective chiropractic care.

I’ll let her finish the story.

When Janis approached me and asked if it was okay for her to tattoo our logo on her leg, I was admittedly hesitant.  After some coaxing on her part, I suggested that she omit our name; at least the family illustrated in the image fits her family: Mom, Dad and the two kids.  She agreed, but added “Subluxation Free” below the figures.  That’s just Janis.  Crazy.

In Health from Within,

Dr. Stephen Franson

I am a tattoo artist and have had many “interesting” clients but one day this woman came to me, telling me she knew I was gonna think she was out of her mind and she wanted to get her chiropractors logo tattooed on her.
I looked at her and said “it wouldn’t be Franson, would it?”

I am also a client and fan of Franson Family Chiropractic and fully appreciate her enthusiasm. I had lost considerable use of my right hand by way of compressed discs in my neck and Dr Franson has been providing the cure.
I had full use of my hand back inside of one month under Dr Fransons care.
Other Medical specialsts suggested invasive treatments with a possible hope for recovery…….Dr Franson saved me from that. THANK YOU.
My seasonal allergies have dissapated considerably as well.

Crazy? Crazy about good health from the inside out!!!!!!
    Thank you Dr Franson!!!!!!!

This is one of those stories behind the story that would have been missed. I love to hear them. Thanks for sharing. Doc
