Slam-ball Therapy


Stressed-out? Frustrated? Had enough? Can’t afford therapy?
In these tough economic times, we have to get creative when it comes to coping with life’s challenges. Our very own Kendra Cecieta shares one of her favorite ”me time” activities to burn off some steam.
Well People don’t experience less stress, necessarily; they just find better ways to cope with it.
1. Find a medicine ball of approximate size and weight of the head of your boss, spouse or other offending individual.
2. Grasp ball firmly in with both hands in a full squat position.
3. Jump the ball directly over-head into a “triple extension” position.
4. Slam ball to ground by flexing hips and abdominals, exhaling forcefully.
5. Catch ball on bounce and repeat as often as necessary.
And remember…exercise is free. Do what moves you.
